Futures trader Don Wilson has grown his DRW Holdings LLC into a key player in the futures industry. He's developed an eye for real estate, with the high-profile purchase of the Esquire Theater in the Gold Coast. And now his star is rising in the world of competitive sailing.

His Chicago Match Race Center will host the world's top-ranked skippers participating in the Alpari World Match Racing Tour at Navy Pier July 10-15.

Much like the match races leading up to the America's Cup, the Alpari tour features nine events across the globe. Chicago is the only U.S. site of competition.
