We are looking for an experienced Senior Travel Program Specialist to spearhead our global Travel team initiatives and implement best practices to optimize the firm’s travel program and experience for employees. We work with cross functional teams and stakeholders across the firm to deliver excellent travel services by maintaining supplier relationships, managing travel policies and booking technology, and looking out for the well being of our business travelers. The team is responsible for developing enhanced travel program solutions to continuously innovate and improve. 

What you'll do:

Communications:

  • Coordinate and support communications, progress and best practices in executing tactical and operational travel management activities
  • Assist in administering online booking tool configuration for continuous improvement including travel policy rules, preferred suppliers, messaging
  • Help support ongoing education to travelers, communicating recommendations, working with travel management companies to support escalation of issues
  • Support ongoing vendor management of travel program suppliers, liaison with legal to maintain and optimize travel related contracts
  • Support virtual payment solutions to facilitate corporate housing payments and hotel payments

Reporting:

  • Monitors and reports on agency performance targets including Client service level agreements (SLA)
  • Monitors travel policy and creates recommendations based on behavioral key performance indicators
  • Supports quarterly and ad hoc travel reporting needs
  • Monthly business travel account payments reconciliations

Strategic Work:

  • Manages savings initiatives to drive travel booking behaviors
  • Recognize ongoing supplier opportunities that would benefit the DRW traveler experience
  • Utilize travel industry intelligence including but not limited to route analyses, fair market share analysis, assessment of route availability, and cost savings opportunities
  • Presents and implements innovative solutions and process enhancements to support DRW’s overall business objectives

Requirements:

  • Corporate travel management background
  • Strong communications skills and ability to interface with our employees and external stakeholders
  • Analytical skills for reporting, and well versed in Excel, utilizing large data sets, etc.
  • Vendor management experience
  • Can do attitude and self motivated
  • Experience making strategic implementations to improves process
