DRW is a diversified trading firm with over 3 decades of experience bringing sophisticated technology and exceptional people together to operate in markets around the world.  We value autonomy and the ability to quickly pivot to capture opportunities, so we operate using our own capital and trading at our own risk.

Headquartered in Chicago with offices throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Asia, we trade a variety of asset classes including Fixed Income, ETFs, Equities, FX, Commodities and Energy across all major global markets. We have also leveraged our expertise and technology to expand into three non-traditional strategies: real estate, venture capital and cryptoassets.

We operate with respect, curiosity, and open minds. The people who thrive here share our belief that it’s not just what we do that matters–it's how we do it.  DRW is a place of high expectations, integrity, innovation, and a willingness to challenge consensus.

As the Director of Community Investment, you will be responsible for setting the strategy and administering a global corporate philanthropic giving and volunteering program primarily focused on the Chicago market. You will both plan and execute DRW’s social good initiatives, all while managing a diverse group of DRW and community stakeholders.

  • Lead DRW’s current philanthropic program, identify new ways to maximize our impact, and expand current and new best practices to our global offices.
  • Manage and develop meaningful relationships with our supported non-profit partners, understand their mission, and identify ways for DRW to further their work through new programs and partnerships.
  • Continue to develop and manage DRW’s employee engagement programs, bring new ideas that incentivize employee volunteerism, find ways for them to invest in their own philanthropic interests (through board programs, etc.), and activate the global workforce to come together to do social good.
  • Partner with HR, Workplace and Communications, and other internal teams to support and develop experiences that can maximize the employee experience and further the company culture.
  • Regularly represent the firm at in-person NFP programming and meetings.
  • Stay current on trends within the corporate philanthropy space and make recommendations for constant improvement.

  • Have at least ten years of experience in the corporate philanthropy, CSR, or foundation space with a strong track record of managing global community partnerships.
  • Understand how to activate a global workforce and have experience developing, launching, and executing successful employee engagement programs that deepen community and company culture ties. Knows the trends in this space and comes to the table with new ideas.
  • Experience working and coordinating across multiple stakeholders to successfully bring together different ideas and perspectives.
  • Demonstrated success in a fast-paced organization with frequently changing priorities.
  • Have developed successful programs that align values and resources to effect meaningful change. They are comfortable leading and executing every step of a program design process (from ideation to launch to continued optimization) and can comfortably manage the program in its final form.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with a high attention to detail and excellent follow-through.
  • Proven organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and projects.
  • Ability to work effectively and meet goals both as part of a team and independently.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
