DRW is looking for an exceptional Software Engineer to join one of our trading desks in Singapore.  You will work directly with experienced traders, quantitative researchers, and technologists to design, develop, deploy, and test customized software solutions. 

What we’re looking for:  

  • 3-6 years professional programming experience and proficiency in C++, preferably within the trading industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, physics, engineering, computer science or related field
  • Experience exploring large datasets and applying data analysis to obtain actionable insights
  • Working familiarity with quantitative strategies
  • Formulate and apply mathematical modeling, quantitative methods, and automated techniques to identify and capture trading opportunities
  • A proven track record of working independently with minimal oversight and driving projects and initiatives to completion
  • Passion for trading markets and willingness to learn
  • Possess strong analytical, mathematical and quantitative skills
  • Ability to create practical solutions to problems presented in the trading environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to haves:

  • Experience working on a trading team within financial services or another latency-sensitive business that involves solving complex and novel problems
  • Comfort with multiple programming languages, particularly including Java and Python
